Professor Gopi Chattopadhyay is the Head of Engineering, Post Graduate Programs at CQUniversity Australia. He is a lead researcher for the Centre for Railway Engineering (CRE) and Process Engineering and Light Metal (PELM) research centres with expertise in asset management, maintenance and reliability.
Gopi has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Gold Medallist 1979), Master of Engineering (Industrial Engineering, Gold Medallist 1982), Master of Business Administration and PhD in Mechanical Engineering in the area of reliability, warranty cost and risk modelling from the University of Queensland. He has 14 years of experience as an engineer and manager in design and development and operations management including maintenance as well as 17 years of experience in the areas of Engineering Management, Asset Management, Maintenance and Reliability at University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology and CQUniversity Australia.
