Professional Development opportunities in the power industry are available through the Power Generation Skills Development program.

Organisations can develop the skills of their staff, especially those identified as future power generation industry leaders, by encouraging their staff to consider enrolling in the program. By supporting their staff and the program, employers are investing in the long-term sustainability, performance and competitiveness of their organisation.
Staff studying in the Power Generation Skills Development program can:
·         Increase their knowledge and skill sets to include those identified as future priority areas, identified by the industry and delivered through 16 specialised courses specifically for the power generation industry.
·         Enrol in a single unit of the program as a non-award, continuing professional development courses.
·         Liaise with leaders in the industry who teach and mentor the students in the program.
·         Study in intensive mode where the courses are delivered in a number of formats and locations to enable those working in full time roles to access the professional development easily.
·         Undertake courses from each of the universities depending on their area of interest.
