Students may enrol in a Power Generation Skills Development program at any of the three partner universities. Once enrolled, students can undertake courses that satisfy their immediate professional development needs as they are identified, and over time complete the requirements for a university qualification. The courses are delivered by CQU, QUT or UQ depending on the area of specialisation.

All of the Power Generation courses comprise approximately 40 class hours, delivered in one or a combination of the following formats:

  • Intensive learning sessions (one to five working days or extended weekends) on university campus or generation sites;
  • Self paced study using the material provided through the online portal; and/or
  • Demonstration and simulator sessions at the generation sites.
