Graduate Certificate in Power Generation

CQU welcomes applications from persons with:

  • An associate diploma or degree in engineering, technology or applied science, plus current employment in a technical capacity within the power generation industry; or
  • An industry background for those who do not have a recognised degree or diploma but have significant experience and a demonstrated competence in the field of power generation engineering. These applicants initially will be enrolled in the Graduate Certificate program, and will be allowed to progress to the Graduate Diploma (Power Generation) only after they have successfully completed the Graduate Certificate.

Students who successfully complete the requirements of the Graduate Certificate award can choose to continue their studies into a Graduate Diploma of Power Generation (eight courses in total including four from the Graduate Certificate of Power Generation). Students who successfully complete the Graduate Diploma of Power Generation are able to enrol in a Master of Engineering degree, which involves a research project in addition to eight Graduate Diploma courses.

(suitable for professional engineer)

CQU welcomes applications from persons who have completed a four-year bachelor degree in engineering in the chosen field or equivalent.
